Tyler "Ted" Everette Irick , 59, of Greenwood, S.C. died Friday, January 16, 2015 at HospiceCare of the Piedmont

**The casket will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to the service.

The funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 19, 2015 at St. George Baptist Church, Orangeburg, S.C. with burial at St. George Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Brad Chandler will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Murphy, Al Bates, Robby Bates, Ernie Hughes, Harold Hughes, Mason Hughes, Jr.

Mr. Irick was born on November 13, 1955 in Orangeburg, S.C. He was the son of the late Tyler Bowman Irick and the late Ruby Bates Irick. He graduated from Edisto High School. He was a former resident of Valdosta, GA before moving to Greenwood, S.C.

Survivors include his sister, Donna (David) Cowan of Greenwood, S.C. and 1 niece, Jennifer Cowan of Greenwood, S.C.

Friends may call the residence of David and Donna Cowan or at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation will be Monday, January 19, 2015 at St. George Baptist Church from 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M.
