Neeses died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at her residence.

A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2014

Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church in Cope with Rev. James

Williams officiating directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc.

in Orangeburg.

She was born September 14, 1922 in Orangeburg County, SC;

the daughter of the late John Hooker Binnicker and the late

Ollie Garrick Binnicker. She was a member of Two Mile Swamp

Baptist Church and was retired from Orangeburg Garment.

She was the widow of the late Legrand Hughes, Sr.

and was preceded in death by two sons; Infant Hughes and

Joseph Hughes.

Survivors include 1 daughter; Judy Knight and Willie of Neeses;

2 sons; Legrand Hughes, Jr. and Mildred of Neeses and Nathan

Hughes of Branchville; 1 sister; Miriam Binnicker of Orangeburg;

8 grandchildren; Hank Hughes, Brian Hughes, Jennifer Hughes,

Melissa Hughes, Chris Hughes, Allan Knight, April Tuten and Ben

Knight; other “Close to Heart” Grandchildren and great grandchildren

and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the residence of Legrand Hughes, Jr. and Mildred

Hughes; 1490 Todd Creek Road; Neeses and at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 27, 2014 at

Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
