Virginia I. Rummel , 82 of Orangeburg died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg with Rev. Freeman Thomas officiting. Pallbearers will be Ben Wooten, Steven Mikell, Darryl Tooley, Philip Tooley, Jim Strickland and Thomas Phipps
Virginia was born October 3, 1932 in Hartford City, Indiania; the daughter of the late Ben Landaker and the late Katie Hone Landaker. She was the widow of the late Edwin M. Rummel.
Survivors include 2 sons; William A. Tucker, Jr. and Kim of Orangeburg; Michael D. Tucker and Jamie of Pelion, SC; 2 daughters; Cynthia Mitchell and James of Cordova; Michelle Jennings and Billy of Cope; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; 1 brother; Nathan Landaker and Nedra of Anderson, Indiana and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday, February 14, 2015 before the service at the funeral home.
