Walter Wayne Hilton,64 of 331 Warley Road, Orangeburg died Friday, July 26, 2013.
The Casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, July 29, 2013 at Bethel Church 5261 Columbia Road; Orangeburg Providence Baptist Church Cemetery on Kennerly Rd. with Rev. Joey Bozard directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Green, Roger Amaker, Alfred Williams, Reuben Jara, Steve Wilbanks, Ronnie Blevins, Robert Belcher and Anthony Smith.
HISTORY He was born July 28, 1948 in Dorchester County, SC; he was the son of the late Johnny Moses Hilton and the late Cora Jeanette Poland Hilton. He was retired from Orangeburg County.
SURVIVORS include his 2 daughters; Barbara and Robert Driggers and Malissa Hilton both of St. Matthews, SC; 2 sons; Walter Wayne Hilton II of Dothan, AL and Arthur Mack III of Bowman, FL; grandchildren; Robert Jr., Stephen, John, Christine, Heather, Zachary, Chloe, Walter III, Dalyn and Adalyn; 2 great grandchildren; Cullen and Mason; 1 sister; Linda Hilton of St. George and 1 brother; John Hilton of Columbia.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT the residence; 331 Warley Road; Orangeburg and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
