Wanda L (Irick) Barbaran

Wanda Lee Irick Barbaran, 61, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 after a brief illness.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Island Cemetery, at the intersection of Nonnie Curve Road and Island Road in Providence.  Pastor Wayne Golden will be officiating.  We will be following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19.  Masks will be required.

Pallbearers will be Matt Edmond, Mark Edmond, Johnny Shirer, Jr., Lance Knapp, Aaron Binsley, David Gates.

Wanda was born on February 14, 1959 in St. Matthews, S.C.  She was the daughter of Gene Irick and the late Laura Rast Irick.  She was a member of Congaree Baptist Church.  Wanda’s family was her life.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend.  She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Alex Barbaran; daughter, Carina Barbaran; siblings, Dianne Crosby, Ricky Irick (Penny), Leila Waite, Pam Rucker (Ronnie), Dennis Irick (Wanda), Billy Irick (Debbie); goddaughter, Samantha Irick; special niece, Amy Knapp; special nephew; Robert Irick; special cousins, R.J. Edmond, Aaliyiah Edmond and a number of additional nieces, nephews and cousins.
