Wiley Franklin Lewis III , 78 of Rowesville died Thursday, March 26, 2015at his residence
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Pastor Frank Hay officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
He was born July 22, 1936 in Valdosta, GA; the son of the late Wiley Franklin Lewis , Jr. and the late Annie Lou Folsom Lewis. He served in the US Army and Army Reserves. He was a member of Crosland Memorial Methodist Church. He was retired from Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law; Robert Lewis; Edgar and Earleen Lewis and Donald and Doris Lewis.
Survivors include his wife; Mattie "Micki" Crider Lewis of Rowesville; 1 son; Craig Scott Lewis of Rowesville; step- daughter; Peggy Lynn Still of Orangeburg; step-son; Kenny Carlisle Bates of Orangeburg; 6 grandchildren; 1 brother and sisters-in-law; David and Betty Jean Lewis and Betty Lewis all of Valdosta, GA and 1 sister and brother-in-law; Velma And Wallace Brannon of Sebring, FL.
The family will greet friends after the service at the funeral home.
