William J. "Bryan" Till, Jr

Mr. William J. "Bryan" Till, Jr. of the Four Holes Community, died Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Longwood Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Four Holes Baptist Church with burial in Four Holes Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. R.L. Zeigler III and Rev. Thomas McElhaney will be in charge of the service.

Mr. Till was born July 10, 1921 in Orangeburg, SC, a son of the late William J. Bryan Till, Sr. and Verlicia Stroman Till. He was a member of the Four Holes Baptist Church, the Adult Sunday School Class #5 of Four Holes Baptist Church. Mr. Till was employed at Fersners for 21 years, and retired from the Orangeburg Highway Department as a Dispatcher. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Brown Till, a daughter, Cynthia T. Zeigler and a son, F. Bruce Till.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Lee and Kim Zeigler of Kannapolis, NC, Gabe Zeigler of West Columbia, SC; 2 great grandchildren, McKayla Zeigler and Jillian Zeigler both of St. Matthews, SC; one sister, Catherine Bell of Columbia, SC; daughter-in-law Brenda Till of Washington, NC; son-in-law R.L. (Bonnie) Zeigler III of Orangeburg, SC; step children, Kristy Surles and Karen Clark both of Greenville, NC; step great grandchildren, Zach and Jackson Surles, Madison and Brayden Clark all of Greenville, NC.

Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Zeigler III, 1725 Four Holes Road, Orangeburg, SC 29115 or at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.

Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Four Holes Baptist Church before the service.
