Willie "W.F." Franklin Jackson

Willie Franklin “W.F.” Jackson, 87, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg.  Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Chris Furtick will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Jackson was born in Calhoun County.  He was the son of the late Harry Jackson and the late Gerilee Wiles Jackson Epps.  He was employed for over 40 years with U.S. Plywood. He was a faithful member of Cameron Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Heber Jackson, sisters, Margie Fields and Roseann Collins and a son-in-law, A. Hank McCollum.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Janice Brunson Jackson of Cameron; daughter, Tina McCollum of Orangeburg; two grandsons, Matthew Fogle of Orangeburg, Wesley Fogle (Deanna) of Neeses; great-grandchildren, Abigail Fogle, Elijah Fogle, Joanna Fogle and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Jeannette and Harriett for their care and love as well as the staff of Edisto Home Care and Hospice for their support during this difficult time.
