Wilma Garrick Pipkins, 99 of 1000 Live Oaks Drive; Orangeburg died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg.
A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Cope with Rev. Ryan Tucker officiating, directed by Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Scott Lilienthal, John W. Carrigg, John W. Carrigg, Jr. Wallace O. Carrigg, Sr., Robert L. Kilgus, Jr. and Robert L. Kilgus III.
She was born June 11, 1914 in Cope, SC; the daughter of the late Lonnie Oakland Garrick and the late Mary Keitt Rivers Garrick. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for 65 years; she was a preschool Sunday school teacher for more than 20 years and was a member of the Golden Singers. She was the widow of the late Lehman Bane Pipkins.
Survivors include a son; Richard Bane and (Toni) Pipkins of St. Matthews; grandson; Matthew Scott and (Elizabeth) Lilienthal of Rock Hill; 2 great grandsons; Jackson Reid Lilienthal and Connor James Lilienthal both of Rock Hill; and a special friend; Ethel Edwards of Orangeburg.
Friends may call at the residence of Richard B. "Spike" and Toni Pipkins; 175 Raider Lane; St. Matthews and at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg.
