Alice Regina Jennings Mobley, 66, of Cope, SC was called to her Heavenly home on July 9th, 2021.
Born on January 8th, 1955, in Richland, SC. Gina was the daughter of the late Robert O. Mobley, Sr and Alice Watts Mobley. She was blessed to grow up as part of a large, loving family. Gina loved to visit with family and friends, quick to offer a cup of coffee and a friendly conversation. She worked various jobs throughout her life to help support her family, including Hutto’s Grocery, The Talking Horse, and The Talking Horse, Too. She helped prepare taxes for years, as well.
In her retired years she enjoyed spending time with her family, loving on her precious dog- Roxie, living in the country, and listening to Christian music. Gina loved Cornerstone Community Church in Orangeburg, where she could be found on Sunday mornings before she became too weak to attend. She loved that Cornerstone was so welcoming. They encouraged her to come just as she was and grow closer to Jesus, which is exactly what she did under their ministry.
Left to treasure her memory is her former husband and best friend, Eddie L. Jennings, Sr.; her children; Stephanie Stokes (Brantley) of Florence, Eddie Jennings, Jr. (Rebecca) of Cope, Crystal Dunmire (Richard) of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Skyler and Ricky Dunmire, Caitlin Jennings, Bryant and Taylor Stokes, and Savannah (Sam) Wentz; great-grandchildren, Sammy and Sterling Wentz. Gina also leaves behind her siblings; Laverne Lewis, Carla (Gary) Darby, Angela (Peter) Becker, Charlene (Patrick) Heslep, Robert O. Mobley, Jr, Melissa (Carlos) Mobley-Quinones; stepsisters, Janet (Ed) Burnett, Deborah (Tommy) Douglas, and Barbara (Jack) Nichols. Many other beloved family members and friends will miss her sweet smile and spirit as well.
Going home before her were her parents, siblings; Albert Boozer, Jr. and Elizabeth Boozer; and a niece, Lisa Reynolds.
We’d like to thank the Grove Park Hospice Team for the amazing, loving way they all cared for her during these final weeks. You have been a blessing to her and to our family.
