Betty Binnicker Cole passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg. Pastor Wayne Manning will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel prior to the funeral service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jayce Dukes, Tanner Dukes, Layton Quintana, Rylan Quintana, Julio Quintana, and Hayden Quintana.
Mrs. Betty was born on December 11, 1946, in Orangeburg. She was the daughter of the late Chester “C.A.” Binnicker and the late Clifford Madeline Gantt Binnicker. She enjoyed dancing and was an original member of the “Silver Spur Stompers.” Mrs. Betty also enjoyed drinking coffee and watching her favorite tv programs. She loved her family, especially being “Nanny” to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-granddaughter, Kaliya Bradley.
Survivors include her husband of twenty six years, Robert “Rob” Cole; children, Shawn Parham, David “Craig” Huffman, Geri Dukes (“Jay”); grandchildren, Heather Varnadore (Tiffany Kreider), Breanna Thompson (Keith), Kirstin Parham (Henry Worthington), Jayce Dukes, Tanner Dukes, Kayden Dukes, Alex Huffman, McKayla Huffman, Katie Huffman; sixteen great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Nicole Welch (Jody), Mandy Adams (Chris); step-grandchildren, Brooke Jones, Rachael Weatherford, Jarrett Adams, Ally Adams, Benjamin Adams, Kendall Adams; a step-great-grandchild; brother, Bobby Joe Binnicker (Merilyn); a number of nieces and nephews and her fur babies, “Teetee and Chopper.”
