Clarence Hiott

Clarence Hiott passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Smith Family Cemetery on Highway 78. Rev. Shawn Hanks will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Thompson Funeral Home, 1012 Whitman Street Orangeburg.

Pallbearers will be Trey Proveaux, Clarence Allen Hiott, Christopher Proveaux, Gene Davis, Andy Johnson, Matthew Bonnette, Dawson Morgan, Richard Burgess, DJ Crosby, 

Honorary Pallbearers will be "Little" Paul Proveaux, Cole "Butter Bean" Bonnette and Anthony Proveaux.

Clarence was born in Bamberg County.  He was the son of the late Milton Hiott and Leora Jeffcoat Smith.  He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Gene Hiott. 

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Spires Hiott; son, Clarance Alan Hiott; daughters, Selena Hiott, Brittney Hiott; grandson, Cole "Butter Bean" Bonnette; brothers, Daniel Hiott, Floyd Hiott (Erica), David Garrick, Gary Allen Hiott; sisters, Lisa "Leeze" Steedly (Donald) and a number of nieces and nephews.
