Collin Mims Obituary

Collin Hampton Mims, 20, of St. Matthews passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 prior to the memorial service. Pastor Paul Hamilton will be officiating.

Collin was born on September 22, 1997 in Orangeburg, S.C. He was the son of Michael E. and Joy Varner Mims. He was a 2016 graduate of Calhoun Academy in St. Matthews. Collin was a student at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Joy Mims of St. Matthews; sister, Abigail Madison Mims of St. Matthews; maternal grandparents, Peggy Moore of St. George and Timothy Callahan of Orangeburg; paternal grandparents, Edward and Lula Mims of St. Matthews; a number of uncles, aunts, cousins and his girlfriend, Chrystal Coleman of Batesburg.
