Obituary

Donald Lamar Singletary, 42, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, with his loving brother by his side.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Pressley Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1689 County Line Rd, Cross.   Pastor Stan Wilson and Pastor Dale Phillips will be officiating.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, prior to the funeral service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Keith Irick, Bill Weatherford, Allen Rudd, Charles Rudd, John Rudd and Terry Jackson.

Donald was born on December 31, 1980, in Orangeburg, S.C.  He was the son of the late Carl Thomas Singletary, Sr. and the late Maggie Bell Jackson.  He enjoyed catfishing, watching Clemson football and NASCAR racing.  His favorite NASCAR drivers were Dale Jarrett and Kevin Harvick.  Donald was a humble man that never complained.  He always thought of other’s needs ahead of his own. 

Survivors include his brother, Carl Thomas Singletary, jr. and a half-brother, Frank Sanford.

Memorials may be made to Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. at 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg, S.C. 29115.
