Fred O'Neal Timmons

Fred O’Neal Timmons, 69, of Bowman, S.C.  passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 7, 2023.  Born on November 24, 1953, in Charleston, S.C., Fred was a beloved individual who will be missed by all that knew him.

Fred was a man of many interests.  He had a passion for tinkering on anything he could get his hands on and was known for his early rising habits.  He enjoyed camping and fishing, finding solace in the great outdoors.  Fred also had a special place in his heart for his “fur babies”, Harlee and Missy, who were always by his side.

Fred is survived by his children, Rick Carter (Carolyn), Jackie Lightfoot (Johnny) and Mitchell Timmons (Samantha).  He was a loving “Papa” to Joseph, Billy, Dylan, Billie, Bobbie, Joey, Chase, Raven, Skye, Jessie, Austin and Cody.  He is also survived by his brother, Norman Timmons, and his sisters, Judy Fennell and Patsy Farley (Richard).

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Sarah J. Timmons.

The family will hold a joint memorial service for Mr. and Mrs. Timmons at a later date, honoring their lives together.
