Jeffrey Baker Zeigler

Jeffrey Baker Zeigler, 30, of Orangeburg passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 12, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 727 Waterspring Road in Orangeburg.  Pastor Justin Eshleman will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 4830 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg.

Jeffrey was the son of Kenneth R. Zeigler and the late Cheryl Lynn Cato Zeigler.  He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish.  He enjoyed watching Clemson Tiger football.  He was preceded in death by his mother, his paternal grandparents, Nelson E. Zeigler, Helen King Zeigler, and his maternal grandmother, Vermell Anderson.  Jeffrey loved having a good time and making people laugh.  He will be remembered for his infectious smile and love of life.

Survivors include his father, Kenneth R. Zeigler; twin siblings, Bryan Zeigler (Joe’l Browning), Kenneth Zeigler, Terri Zeigler; maternal grandfather, John Cato (Susan); niece, Brielle Zeigler; nephew, Brayden Zeigler; son, William Zeigler and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
