Jessie Ray Weeks

Jessie Ray Weeks, Sr., 67, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at his home in Beaufort, SC

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 25, 2017 prior to the funeral at 3:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg.  Rev. Charlie Snipes and Pastor Scott Neal will be officiating.

Mr. Weeks was born on January 23, 1950 in Orangeburg, SC.  He was the son of the late James Willie Weeks and the late Daisy Bell Weeks. Ray worked at Amblers as maintenance manager for 35 years and the rest of his years was in maintenance in the hospitality field. He loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his family especially all of his grandchildren. He was a member of Star Riding and Touring. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Franklin Weeks (Jimmy), two daughters Jessica Jean Weeks, Jamie Renee Weeks and a son, James Douglas Crisp.

Pallbearers will be Chris Mills, Larry Garrick, Andy Weeks, Greg Wilson, Wesley Staley, and Jim Singletary.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the motorcycle club Star Riding and Touring.

Survivors include his wife Vicki McCants Weeks, his sons and daughters-in-law Jesse Ray Weeks, Jr and Jennifer Weeks, Branchville, SC., Chris and Jennifer Crisp, Bowman, SC, Heath and Pamela Crisp, Knoxville, TN, grandchildren Jessica Weeks, Tanner Aimar, Trenton Crisp, Ashlee Weeks, Landon Crisp, Caitlyn Crisp, and Aubrey Grace Crisp.  A sister Ethel Diane Staley, a special sister-in-law Diane Weeks and lots of nephews and nieces.  A close friend Chris Mills.

Family would like to give thanks to the Keyserling Cancer Center and a special thank you to Friends of Caroline.
