Jimmie Hicks

Jimmie Hicks,  87 of 1180 Wolfe Trail, Orangeburg  passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Friday at the funeral home before the service.

A Graveside Service will be held  11:00 AM Friday, June 29, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg directed Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg

Pallbearers  will be his grandsons and his great grandchildren   

He was born October 14, 1930 in Hartsville, SC; the son of the late Grayton Hicks and the late Maggie Tyner Hicks. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was the widower of the late Leola Hodge Hicks and was preceded in death by 3 sons; Douglas Hicks, Bobby Hicks and Charles Hicks.

Survivors include his children; Phyllis (Glynn) Watson of Maggie Valley, NC; James G. (Patricia) Hicks of Starke, FL, Ronnie G (Donna) Hicks of Chapin, SC, Eddie D. Hicks of Hartsville, SC; 14 grandchildren; Clark Stillinger, Cheray Stillinger, Ronda Etheridge, Jesse Hicks, Ricky Still, Melissa O’Dell, James Martin, Matthew Martin, Steven Martin, Danielle Thomas, Michelle Clayton, Angela Weeks, Austin Hicks and Angel Hartzog; 29 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial be made to  Jolley Acres Health Care Center for special thanks for all the special care they gave; 1180 Wolfe Trail; Orangeburg, SC 29115.
