Obituary

John Wayne Doyle, 77, of Orangeburg passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, after a brief illness.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg.

Mr. Doyle was born in Savannah, GA to the late James Allen Doyle and the late Mary Lou Sherrod Doyle.  He served his country in the United States Army National Guard.  He hung drywall all of his life.  Mr. Doyle enjoyed fishing and watching the University of Georgia football games.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Pamela Regina Doyle, a son, Robert Lee Doyle, sisters, Joyce Doyle Flowers and Jimmie Doyle Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Doyle; sons, James “Jimmy” Doyle (Elizabeth), Shawn Doyle (Frannie), David Doyle (Bobbie); grandchildren, Kelsey Doyle, TJ Rowe, Kristie Garrick, Kathryn Doyle, Katlin Doyle, Sharon Doyle, Kristen Doyle; great-grandchildren, Jase Baker, Hunter Baker, Hannah Gartman; daughter-in-law, Jessica Doyle; stepdaughters, Jennifer Wesson, Kim Aultman and Della Powell the mother of his children.
