Joyce Mindle (Young) Garrick

Joyce Mindle Garrick, 87, of Aiken passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg.  Entombment will follow at The Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg.  Rev. Henry Cooper will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 29, 2018 prior to the funeral service.

Mrs. Garrick was born on January 23, 1931 in Orangeburg, SC.  She was the daughter of the late Lloyd Young and the late Frastus Jackson Young.  She was predeceased by her husband Lueldon Garrick, grandchildren, Joshua Garrick, Wendi Davis and Dianne Cunningham.

Survivors include her children, Stephen Garrick (Della) of North Augusta, Angela Garrick of Salley, Denny Garrick (Wanda) of Salley; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Phil Cooper and a number of nieces and nephews.
