Obituary
Larry “Bubba” Gene Davis, Jr., 37, of Gaston passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg.
“Bubba” was born in Lexington, S.C. to the late Larry Gene Davis, Sr. and Donna Green Wilder. “Bubba” was a “jack of all trades.” He loved tinkering, from fixing cars to home construction. He was a typical guy that enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, sports and old cars, but his true love was being a dad. He was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend.
Survivors include his son, Larry “Tra” Gene Davis, III; mother, Donna Wilder (Theodore); sisters, Tracy Davis (John), Lana Russell (Jason); nephews, Tyler Thorndike, Aaron Lewis, Logan Russell; aunts, Sandra Raby, Rita Eckes, Marilyn Pickett; uncle, Kenneth Green (Debbie); the mother of his son, Amanda Williamson and his beloved fur baby, “Luke.”
