Robert L Sandifer

.Robert  Lee Sandifer, 75, of Bamberg, SC died at the Regional Medical Center on Friday, May 10, 2019. He was the son of the late Quillie H. Sandifer and Dorothy Roush Sandifer and was born in Hartner, Kansas

Graveside service will be Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Springbranch Baptist Church. The Rev. Troy Peterson will officiate.

Pallbearers include Jimmy Mixon, Michael Mixon, Tony Bledsoe, Jody Ott and Willie Wilson.

Mr. Sandifer is survived by his wife, Becky Edgemon Sandifer of Bamberg; daughter, Lana Sandifer of Bamberg; two grandchildren, Kingsley Zorn and Zane Zorn both of Bamberg; step granddaughters, Nikki Fort of Orangeburg, and Nancy Fort of Hampton; step greatgrandchildren, Kali Floyd, Aleah Floyd and Chloe Hightower; step nephew, Trey Carson of Mebane, NC and his loving pet dog, Max. Preceding him in death a step son Witt Fort.

Mr. Sandifer was a member of Springbranch Baptist Church. He was in the South Carolina National Guard for 26 years. He retired as a machinist at Koyo Bearing Company.

The family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn  38105-9959.
