Obituary
Shirley K. Strickland passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 28, 2023. Shirley was 88 years old.
Shirley was pre-deceased by her husband of 38 years, Robert F. Strickland. Shirley graduated from high school in Smoaks, SC, where she was born and raised. Shirley was a loving Christian and was always ready to listen and help others.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Robin Gee of Swansea, SC, who lovingly cared for her over the years, as well as two grandsons, Eric and Daniel Wilson, and four great-grandchildren, Skyler, Gavin, Finnley and Brody Wilson. Shirley is also survived by two brothers, Darwin Kinard (Hazel) and Ronald Kinard (Peggy) of Smoaks, and by many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, Henry Norman Kinard and Laurie Lyons Kinard, brother Harry Kinard and her sisters Myrtle Linder and Margie Linder of Smoaks.
