Tracy Rudy Bolen

Tracy Rudy Bolen, 87, of North passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, surrounded by his family.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, 1012 Whitman Street, Orangeburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at North Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4681 Savannah Hwy, North.  Pastor Roger Smoak will be officiating.

Mr. Bolen's grandchildren are honored to serve as pallbearers.  They are, Katie Bolen, Annabelle Bolen, John Macklye Bolen, Eugene Peele Jr,  A.J. Williams,  Noah Williams,  Raylan Williams, and Jeffrey Thomas.

Mr. Bolen was born in Richland County to the late Tracy Bolen and the late Esther Mae Birk Bolen.  He was preceded in death by his parents, twelve brothers, three sisters and the mother of his children, Louise Rudd Bolen.

Survivors include his children, Steve Allen Bolen, Sr. (Linda), Donald R. Bolen, Sr., Johnny R. Bolen, Sr. (Rose Odom), Lonnie L. Bolen, Sr. (Tammy), Susan L. Williams (Franklin); fourteen grandchildren, Steve A. Bolen, II, John Mackyle Bolen, Hampton Leroy Bolen (Kaci), Donald R. Bolen, Jr., Princess Judyann, Johnny Ray Bolen, Jr., Juliette Bolen, Lonnie L. Bolen, Jr. (Nicole), Katie E. Bolen, Annabelle G. Bolen, Eugene Lawrence Peele, Jr., Franklin “A.J.” Ashley Williams, Jr., Ethan Harold Peele, Matthew Noah Williams, Raylan Luke Williams; a number of great-grandchildren; brothers, George Bolen, Duris O’Neal Bolen and a number of nieces and nephews.
